Reason for Kleer
When Dr. Matthew Karls and his wife, Dr. Sarah Karls, took over a 50 year-old practice from Matthew’s father, they recognized significant challenges to modernizing the business, including the sheer amount of PPOs they had to work with to process insurance claims. The rates of payment through each PPO varied, making it complicated to calculate how much of a loss they’d face with each patient appointment. The write-offs for those losses were abundant and the practice was not even being paid half of what they charge for certain treatments.
